Not only does this concert series provide typical Acadian entertainment for tourists and locals, but it enables the audience to discover and rediscover some of our Island artists.
To date, the concert series organized by the Coopérative has featured performances by over 800 artists (musicians, singers and story-tellers) as well as 300 dancers. This coopérative has had an important impact on the hiring and presentation of our Island artists. Since the beginning of its concert series, the Coopérative has attracted over 16,000 spectators.
In 2020, due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, the Cooperative innovated and presented a virtual concert series on their Facebook page. Through a total of 9 shows, they presented 9 artists/groups and their virtual concert series generated over 75 000 views.
It is the most popular concert series of its kind during the summer on Prince Edward Island and, since its debut in 2008, has rapidly taken its rightful place within the artistic and cultural community of our province.
