The mandate of the Coopérative de développement culturel et patrimonial de Mont-Carmel ltée is to develop, promote, disseminate and showcase the rich cultural heritage of Mont-Carmel.

The objectives of the Coopérative are as follows:

a) make culture accessible;

b) promote heritage conservation and development;

c) support and improve artistic and cultural creation, dissemination and promotion;

d) contribute to the development and diversification of the local economy and the tourist    

    industry of Mont-Carmel and the surrounding areas;

e) strengthen tourism, cultural and heritage programming;

f) create opportunities for the community to expand its tourism, cultural and heritage

   resources;

g) conserve and protect Mont-Carmel's cultural and heritage resoures.
